"Another diligent design from Gill. What can I say, having seven pockets means I can stash all my small gear comfortably. The colour sequence works for me, and it would also be great in a sky Blue. I've been after an OS2 Jacket for ages and can't wait to try it out onboard. Well done Guy's and Gals."

"Worn over all in one fleece with Bib 30-40Knt Winds -03°C. Wearing snood & Gloves kept me warm and dry. Great Kit, I would recommend. Other crew were wearing £1,000 Musto & HH gear and they were the ones who were cold. Feedback for manufacturer is the tailoring of the “NECK” for an XXL guy is too small. Please read and make adjustments as too tight and cant zip up with snood which is necessary"

"I was keen to get some good wind and water protection gear and fortunately after a lot of travelling I was able to buy it in the UK. I would have bought it sooner if it was available in Brazil. I am very pleased with the quality and finish of the jacket."
Not a practical jacket more a fashion item.
"I have returned this jacket. I am so disappointed by this latest offering of the OS2. I have had 2 of these jackets over the last 10 years and have been very pleased with them but the latest one has clearly been designed as a fashion accessory rather than a practical jacket. The space under the arms has decreased to the point where if a thick jumper is worn the jacket is uncomfortable. In addition, the entry to the pockets is stupid - they are too high and the entry to the upper chest pockets has moved closer to the armpit which makes accessibility difficult. It is clear what Gill are trying to do in making this a fashion item to increase sales but at the expense of your core customer. Whoever designed this should be ashamed of themselves. I have since purchased a jacket from another manufacturer - so it is goodbye to Gill."

Recycling reimagined, an incredible 98% of our Special Edition OS2 Offshore Jacket is made from reclaimed plastic bottles and recycled fibres, from the abrasion resistant outer panels right down to the adjustable shock cord hem.
With no compromise in performance, the Jacket features XPLORE® 2-layer fabric construction for a waterproof and breathable finish, as well as fabric technology to offer incredible levels of water repellency, stain resistance and odour control; keeping you protected and comfortable to the core.
A staple for our offshore sailors, the OS2 Jacket benefits from a high cut thermal collar, fully lined high-vis hood, reflective accents for 360° visibility and hand warmer cargo pockets with adjustable PU inner seals, so you have a watertight defense against the elements.
