"I bought a retainer from Amazon but found it pinched behind the ears so tried this one from Gill and its perfect. Fits tightly but not too bulky to give pressure behind the ears. Have used it a few times and handy to take glasses off but know they are still secure."

"After a week GILL transfers logos on the sides peeled off, not just one side but both, clearly a bad design as the transfers were never going to stay on a movable squashy material like the strap is and it was only light urban wear not actual sailing or anything like that, also the toggle at the back to tighten the sunglasses to the head was always way too loose, it couldnt be kept tightened, constantly going baggy, all in all a terrible product from a great company like GILL"

"I decide to upgrade from a bit of string. These are well made and fit the end of the glasses tightly. Unfortunately my sun glasses must be a bit too heavy as they slowly sink. Solved by adding some additional buoyancy which because the strap is long was easy to do."
